「ポートフォリオ」は、ギャラリーで個展を申し込む際やコンペなどに参加する際にも提出を求められることがあり、自作をプレゼンテーションするために使用したり、審査の対象になったりもします。特に、作品を展示するときに作品と同列、あるいはそれ以上に重要なのがポートフォリオに記載されるプロフィールやコンセプトです。
しっかりとしたコンセプトやプロフィールが記載されたポートフォリオはあなたの作品をプレゼンテーションするために必要不可欠なものです。
また、ポートフォリオにおいてレイアウトや構成といった視覚的な要素は大きく評価を左右します。構成というのは ポートフォリオの要素を自分なりに整理してまとめることで要素というのは自己紹介から始まり経歴、コンセプト、作品画像など様々ありこれら要素をどういう順序（構成）で並べていくか、見てもらうかというのもとても重要です。
また、ポートフォリオ全体でレイアウトに統一感があるか赤の他人が見ても内容を理解できるようになっているかといったところもポイントのひとつで評価を左右します。

At GALLERY ART POINT, we provide a consultation service on constructing an effective portfolio, with advice and support of concept development.
The Portfolio is something that represents you as a artist. It is something that should explain:
・ why you create art
・ what you want to convey
・ how you create your artwork
・ what your artwork is made of
…in order to show what your artwork means to you, to people you don’t personally know.
The Portfolio is often required when submitting artwork to an exhibition or competition, and is often used as a basis for evaluation. Moreover, when exhibiting artwork, the profile or concept as published in the portfolio can be as important as– if not more so– than the works themselves.
A portfolio with a solid profile and concept is crucial to the presentation of your artwork.
Additionally, the layout, construction, and other such visual aspects of your portfolio can have a significant influence on the reception of your work.
The elements of a portfolio begin with a self-introduction and includes a bibliography, profile, and images of your work. It is crucial to decide exactly how these elements are organized, and how they should be viewed.
Whether the layout of the portfolio is cohesive, and whether its content can be understood from an outsider’s perspective, are key points which can determine how your work will be received.
GALLERY ART POINT provides support by advising on the whole of the portfolio, including its construction, layout, and design. Consultation fees
– 10,000yen from 1-10 works of art, with one work of art per page
(From the 11th artwork onwards, an additional 3000yen will be charged for every 5 works of art)
