KIZUNA 2020  -アートの力美術館支援プロジェクト- 
開催概要

弊画廊は1969年、コンテンポラリーアートギャラリーとして開廊し、現在までこの銀座の地でたくさんの アーティストの展覧会をプロデュースしてきました。
弊画廊の歴史は、様々な“繋がり““絆-KIZUNA“によって支えられたものであります。
それは第一に画廊とアーティストとの繋がり、そして弊画廊にご来廊いただいたお客様との繋がりであります。こうして受け継がれた歴史を今後は新たな未来に繋げていかなければなりません。
現在、新型コロナウイルスの世界的な感染拡大によって、私たちは災害や疫病など、命の尊さ、について考える時に直面しております。
弊画廊ではこのような状況だからこそアート作品の本来の力、人の心を豊にする力が必要と考えております。
KIZUNA展では会場の展示以外にも作家様の作品や会場の様子をオンライン番組で紹介し、全国や世界中で自宅待機されている方へ作家の作品の力を届け、不安な心を少しでも安らかに、少しでも心が豊になれるようご紹介いたします。
今まさに、アーティストの作品の力が必要な時だと考えます。
また、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大を受け、芸術文化活動をするアーティストが活動できなくなっている現状があり休館になっている 美術館も数多くあります。
本展では、アートの力美術館支援プロジェクトとして現在運営が厳しくなっている、行政や企業からの助成のない私設の美術館である「原爆の図丸木美術館」に収益の10％を寄付し、作品販売分の収益は全て寄付をいたします。「原爆の図丸木美術館」は埼玉県東松山市で開館している、油彩画家の丸木俊（1912-2000）夫妻が共同制作した連作「原爆の図」を常設展示する美術館です。
命の尊さや重み、命を思う場である美術館を感染の収束後にも、次の世代に未来に繋げていかなければと考えます。

Our gallery has opened as an gallery for contemporary art since 1969, located in Ginza, Tokyo. Ever since then we have been collaborate with many artists, for the produce of exhibitions in various fields.
Our history has been supported by the ‘KIZUNA(Connection)’ with others.
Firstly, it is the connection between the artists and our gallery. Secondly, it is the connection between the visitors and the gallery. We think the gallery’s long history with the support of others has to be continued to the future.
Due to the spread of COVID-19, we are now forced to face the difficulty of the disease and disaster. It is the time for us to rethink the preciousness of life.
Because of the difficult situation we are facing presently, we think it is important to bring out the potential of art——that is, to encourages self-expression and open-mindedness.
In the ‘KIZUNA’ exhibition, considering the difficulty of attending the event, we will be streaming live from the event hall, and introduce the artworks online. We are hoping to deliver the power of art to people around the world under the ‘stay home’ period, in order to reduce people’s anxiety and bring some enrichment to life.
In this moment, the power of art is necessary to us.
Besides, due to the spread of COVID-19, there are many museums that are temporarily closed as many artists have the difficulty to continue their activities.
The ‘KIZUNA’ exhibition, as a part of the ‘The Power of Art’ art museum supporting project, we will support the Maruki Gallery for the Hiroshima Panels museum, which is a private art museum that has not receiving subsidy from the country or enterprises. 10% of the profit from the exhibition, and all of the sale profit from the artworks will be contributed to the Maruki Gallery for the Hiroshima Panels museum.
Maruki Gallery for the Hiroshima Panels is an art museum located in Higashimatsuyama, Saitama prefecture, exhibiting ‘The Hiroshima Panels (Genbaku no zu)’——a series of painted folding panels by the collaborative husband and wife artists Maruki Iri and Maruki Toshi (1912-2000)
We think that it is important to make efforts for the future of art museums even after the convergence of the pandemic. As Art Museum is suppose to be a place to let us rethink the preciousness and weight of life.
